My journey with Steph started way back in March. I was excited to start working with her because I had gained an extra 15 pounds that winter and lost it during track season so I was back to where I started in the fall. Our training sessions we had this summer were great because every time I went, I learned something new. During the summer, I wasn't really focused on nutrition, but more on gaining muscle/being athletic as possible. I ate better but I really didn't know how to eat. Now, being on this plan, I have learned how important nutrition is...more than working out! In just 6 weeks, I have lost 2.5% bf and 8 pounds! This is the result of clean/macro eating! This plan works!!! I can't thank Steph enough for everything she's taught me from how things are processed in the body to best food choices, and much more! The nutrition was tough for the first few weeks, balancing this with school and sports, but the more I continue, the more I get the hang of it, and then the results started showing. "It's pretty hard for me to sum up all the great things I have to say about Stephanie Gillam. I'm pretty sure I could write a book! She is an amazing trainer and her nutrition plans are the real deal. I really struggled for a few years, falling off the fitness and healthy eating wagon, trying to figure out how i even got there. For so long I was trying unreasonable things or fad diets, limiting calories, limiting carbohydrates, I even tried living off shakes to a certain extent by replacing 2 meals a day with a shake. These "diets" got me no where, except in the end more and more weight gain. I love that her nutrition plans are easy to follow, they tell me what I can eat, when to eat it, and my portion sizes that I can have. There is no guessing or trying to figure it out on my own. "Over the last few years I have had difficultly losing weight. At the beginning of 2014, I decided it was time to get lean and went to Stephanie for assistance. She set me up on a nutrition plan and started personal training with her once a week. The rest of the week I worked out on my own. In 4.5 weeks I saw great results. I lost 7 pounds of FAT, and 9% BODY FAT. My lean mass is way up and I have lost 1.5inches in my chest, 1 inch in my waist, 1.75inches in my biceps, 3 inches in my hips, and 1 inch on my quads. In May of 2015, I joined a 90-Day Challenge group that Stephanie and three other coaches offer to their clients. The amount of information I received, in small doses, has been so educational and valuable. Not only have I learned how to cook differently, but I also have learned tips on proper techniques to use when exercising, the value of drinking a gallon of water a day, how fruit can spike my insulin levels, the importance of eating five to six times a day while watching macro numbers and the list goes on and on. This may seem overwhelming, but through the process I have also learned how to manage this way of life and still remain a very busy elementary school teacher.

Changing my lifestyle habits has not always been easy, but well worth it. I am so thankful that I chose to take on this learning challenge with Coach Steph. She has proven to me that I can indeed succeed and lead a healthier lifestyle.

I started the program May 15, 2014 at the weight of 201 pounds. On June 26, 2015 my weight this morning was 167.8 pounds. I have lost 33.2 pounds."
