After high school I stopped playing sports/exercising and never learned how to eat properly. I slowly gained weight and in my 30s, I found myself at 37% body fat and severely overweight. I was fighting high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and was on medication. I couldn’t shop for regular sized clothing and I had extremely low self-esteem. I would sit on my couch on Monday nights and watch episodes of "The Biggest Loser" and say to myself, "I could do that too". However, year after year went by and I didn’t do anything about it. Finally, I decided to hire a personal trainer that changed my life. I worked hard to reduce my body fat and get healthy. I am very driven and know firsthand what it takes to truly change your lifestyle. I aspire to teach others about nutrition and fitness.
